A Lua configuration for the editor I spend my time in. It brings together lazy.nvim, Telescope, Treesitter, completion, language servers, and debugging. Try it in a separate Neovim profile and make it your own.

My Neovim setup.

Find your way around

Search files and text with Telescope, jump between saved files with Harpoon, and keep bookmarks close by.

Tools for the languages I use

Language servers are configured for Rust, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Lua, alongside completion and Treesitter highlighting.

A setup you can read and change

Lua files separate editor options, key mappings, and plugins. The repository includes a dependency setup script and a plugin lockfile.

Install

Clone the configuration into a separate Neovim profile. Git will stop if the destination already exists.

Get the configuration
git clone https://github.com/BeepBoopBit/nvim-config.git "${XDG_CONFIG_HOME:-$HOME/.config}/bbb-nvim"

Next step

Install Neovim and mise first, then prepare dependencies and open the profile. The guide explains the setup script and its global runtime selections.

Prepare and open the profile
NVIM_APPNAME=bbb-nvim bash "${XDG_CONFIG_HOME:-$HOME/.config}/bbb-nvim/setup.sh"
NVIM_APPNAME=bbb-nvim nvim

Neovim · Git · Bash · mise

The setup script targets Linux and macOS and needs Neovim and mise installed first. It installs system dependencies and sets global mise runtime versions. This is a personal configuration; review the script and key mappings before using it.
